We kick off with "Crash Out," diving headfirst into a vibrant, fast-paced world encompassing truth, religion, street culture, and adversity. "Crash out" is a term employed by young individuals to depict erupting in anger towards someone. In this song, we utilize it to illustrate the experience of spreading the light of the gospel and the challenges that often arise from carrying that light. Next up is "October Crime," which revolves around the concept of murder, drawing a parallel to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Jesus was questioned about his identity and mission. Although Pilate found no wrongdoing in him, he chose to put Jesus to death for speaking the truth. The act of murder was truly shocking. In "Cross Up," we are encouraged to carry our burdens, leave the past behind, and move towards the divine light and presence of the LORD. G Taylor shares personal experiences of becoming a parent at a young age and surviving a traumatic assault in his youth. He also delves into the chaos of contemporary society.
In "The Book of Job," we delve into each frame of scripture, exploring the mysteries of evil and its purpose, as well as the concept of innocence. Delving into the nature of evil and Satan's role, this track is a profound and enlightening experience set to smooth drums and a sample from Marvin Gaye. Following that is the "Danny Prayer" (Interlude), a powerful prayer delivered by the pastor's daughter that deeply moved G Taylor upon first hearing it. He had saved it on his phone months earlier, touched by the young lady. "Crazy Crazy" is a rock and roll song that vividly portrays the crucifixion of the Son of Man. The beating, the nails, the betrayal, the anger and the ultimate power of evil that the cross gave the church. CRAZY!
We smooth things out with the power of season with "Winter Summer" we get saucy with the power of Jesus and we address culture even more. This song is full of love and passion and santification of life and duty as we follow Christ Jesus. Turing winter into summer is a nuance explaining how heavy the spirit and power of GOd is. Holiness is right and we need it to live a full life of abundance, we often treat holiness as a burden. In this record holiness is the best thing in the world and the only way to be cool, dope and honorable before Life, Nature and GOD.
"Star Fame" by G Taylor delves into the cultural phenomenon of achieving recognition as a master teacher, encompassing both the praise and criticism that accompany such recognition. In addition, G Taylor hints at feelings of love and attraction towards a Christian woman, and explores themes such as the power of words, faith, witchcraft, reflections on life, fears of manipulation and betrayal, and spiritual mysteries. The lyrics touch on dreams of a loving marriage and pose the question of why there is animosity towards the living word. Transitioning to the "Cyber Truck," G Taylor narrates a spiritual battle he faces against various adversities, carrying the message of the gospel and illuminating his own journey. He also discusses aspiring to embody the qualities desired by his Christian partner, aspiring to be a Psalm 1 man: "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers."
In the last two songs, G Taylor shows a softening of his heart towards a Christian woman, symbolizing a man who has overcome challenges and is now prepared to dedicate himself to a Christian woman. The transition from "Need Your Love" to "Psalm 1 / Saint" signifies G Taylor's full maturity and readiness to love and support the woman of his dreams. Trials, like those faced by Job, often lead to greater rewards and clarity. These challenges are necessary for personal growth and to reach a higher level of service. G Taylor harbors feelings for PK's daughter, but he must be patient and trust in divine timing to bring them together. In the meantime, he entrusts his life and affairs to God.
